Fog danced throughout the rolling hills. Gray floating above the winding road. The vehicle navigating in and out of visibility.

I am driving. As we poke in and out of the gray my eyes fixed ahead. Every time visibility decreases I feel a little unsure. However, even in the fog, the haze I can still see the white lines to my right and the yellow lines to my left. They are guiding. Guiding me out of every gray place. While I can’t see far in front of me I have to trust that the road and its lines will bring me to my destination safely.

Roads were designed for our safety, protection. Roads are a part of every journey.

Our heavenly Father gave us Jesus, His son. Jesus, our road leading us Home. Leading us in the dark and light places. The lines of yellow and white, yes they are given to us too. The Holy Spirit, guiding us, keeping us on the path, the road Home.

Every time you find yourself in the fog. Every time the gray surrounds are your eyes focused on the Road? Are you trusting the Road to lead you? Do you allow the Lines to protect you, comfort you on the path?

Do not fear the fog. God will not pull the Road, His Son from under you. Jesus is there, always there even in the fog.
