Most of us are familiar with the worship song Good Good Father<\/em>. \u00a0Every time I hear the song, sing the words my heart rises into the place it belongs. A place called Home. Woven into its melody is the truth of our true identity. Who we are.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a world that screams and demands other things from us. A world we were not truly made for. A world that bites us, kicks us, knocks us down. But despite all that. Despite this world, that is not our true Home. We have hope. We have the ability to rise above. To walk on the stormy sea. To have light in the darkest valley.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Why? How is this possible? One word: BELOVED.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We are deeply, passionately loved by our Creator. And that my friends,\u00a0is who We are. BELOVED.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Not\u00a0a homemaker, not homeless, not forgotten, not a\u00a0construction worker, not a\u00a0teacher, not a\u00a0lawyer, not rejected, not abused, not IT person, not a\u00a0doctor. Beloved: dearly loved, much loved. That is who you are!<\/p>\n

Are you excepting that today? Are you living loved?\u00a0<\/p>\n

For me, it takes daily remembrance. Continually pouring His truth into the depths of my heart.<\/p>\n

When a word of rejection comes replace it. Choose to see love. Choose to be loved. Daily. Hourly. Whatever it takes to stay in God’s arms. Whatever it takes to remain in the depths of who you are: BELOVED.\u00a0<\/p>\n

1 John 3:1\u00a0See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.<\/em> ESV<\/p>\n

Ephesians 2:4-6\u00a0But\u00a0God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,<\/span> even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ\u2014by grace you have been saved\u2014<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/sup>and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.<\/em> ESV<\/span><\/p>\n

Psalm 86:15\u00a0But you, O Lord,\u00a0<\/span>are a God of compassion and mercy,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>slow to get angry\u00a0<\/span><\/em>and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.<\/em> NLT<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Romans 8:37-39\u00a0No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.<\/span>\u00a0<\/sup>For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/sup>nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord<\/em>. ESV<\/span><\/p>\n

1 Corinthians 13:13\u00a0So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.<\/em> ESV<\/p>\n
