So, I decided to do a little tbt&#8230;one of my old poems&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>What if they choose someone else?<\/p>\n<p>Will they break my heart?<\/p>\n<p>God,\u00a0vulnerability cries<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>What if I can&#8217;t get back up?<\/p>\n<p>God, will You be there<\/p>\n<p>When no one else is?<\/p>\n<p>Is Your love that real?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When the world turns in disgust<\/p>\n<p>Will You lift up my tear stained face?<\/p>\n<p>God, when darts of rejection are thrown<\/p>\n<p>will You catch each one?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Is Your love that fierce<\/p>\n<p>You send Your Son<\/p>\n<p>to fight my every battle?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What if they break my heart, again?<\/p>\n<p>God, will I mend?<\/p>\n<p>Will the wounds become scars?<\/p>\n<p>Will healing begin to replace every heartache?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Is Your love that sincere?<\/p>\n<p>Your presence a force to rely on?<\/p>\n<p>What if they choose someone else?<\/p>\n<p>What if my heart breaks?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>God, I will not fear what<\/p>\n<p>they can do to me&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I have a real, fierce, sincere love to rely on!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>Psalm 118:6\u00a0The <span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span> is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?<\/em> ESV<\/p>\n<p>We may feel rejected by people from time to time. Our hearts may break, but our God is in the healing business. He holds your heart tenderly.<\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>Thank You, God, for loving us where we are&#8230;right here, right now<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s Thursday!
